Aeroscore
How aerodynamic were you during your ride?
Your AeroScore shows how efficient and aerodynamic your position was. It’s displayed as a percentage (0–100%) — the higher, the better.
What it’s based on:
- Your riding position (torso angle)
- How well you turn power into speed
- Your overall speed and consistency
What a good score means:
80–100%: Very aerodynamic — great position
60–79%: Solid, but with room to improve
Below 60%: Likely some posture or setup issues to work on
Use AeroScore to track how your position improves over time — and to test how changes to your setup or riding style affect your speed.

Aeroscore
How aerodynamic were you — really?
Your AeroScore is a percentage (0–100%) showing how efficiently you turned power into speed, based on your body position and posture stability.
Why it matters:
It’s not just power that makes you fast — it’s how you hold yourself on the bike. This score helps you track aero form over time and compare across sessions.
Position Type
The riding posture you held most during this session.
- This shows whether you spent most of your time in a Comfortable, Aggressive, TT, or Standing position — based on real posture data, not manual input.
- For seated positions, Darefore also distinguishes between Ideal and Non-Ideal posture, helping you see how well you stayed within your target aero range.
Why it matters:
You can directly correlate effort and performance with how you were positioned on the bike. It’s not just about what you did — it’s about how you rode while doing it.
CdA
Your aerodynamic drag, made measurable.
Darefore estimates your CdA (coefficient of drag) based on position, power, speed, and terrain — no lab needed.
Why it matters:
CdA is what separates a fast rider from a faster one. Knowing it helps you test setups, compare positions, and race smarter, not just harder.
Body Angle
Track your posture — down to the degree.
This shows your real-time torso angle throughout the session, visualized in the ride graph and used to classify position type.
Why it matters:
It’s the key to understanding whether you're in your aero zone — or just thinking you are. Small shifts make a big difference at speed.
Ride Info
Everything about when, where, and how you rode.
This block shows:
- Moving Time – Total active time on the bike
- Ride Type – Indoor, outdoor, TT, or trainer
- Bike Name & Type – Your chosen setup
Why it matters:
Helps you compare performance across different setups and environments. Context matters — riding 200W indoors is not the same as holding it outside on a climb.
Body & Output
Your balance, effort, and energy burned.
This block shows:
- L/R Balance – Power split between left and right legs (if available)
- Calories – Estimated energy expenditure
Why it matters:
Left/right balance is key to spotting asymmetries or fatigue. Calorie data helps with fueling decisions and recovery planning.
Elevation
How much did the terrain challenge you?
This block shows:
- Elevation Gain – Total climbing (in meters or feet)
- Elevation Loss – Total descending
- Often paired with power and position data to show how you rode each terrain type
Why it matters:
Climbing affects posture, power output, and aero stability. Use elevation data to understand when and where your form changed — especially during sustained efforts or standing transitions.
Performance Metrics
How hard did you go — and how efficiently?
This block shows:
- Avg / Max Power – Overall effort and peak output
- Avg / Max Speed – Your pacing and top-end speed
- Avg / Max Heart Rate – Cardiovascular response to the ride
- Avg / Max Cadence – Pedaling rhythm and control
Why it matters:
These numbers give you a complete snapshot of your ride intensity and how your body responded. On Darefore, you can go beyond raw stats by correlating these with posture, terrain, and aerodynamic data — helping you ride smarter, not just harder.
Performance Index
A full picture of your session's quality, intensity, and efficiency.
This block includes:
- Efficiency Factor – How efficiently you converted heart rate into power
- Effort Score – A custom Darefore metric summarizing ride difficulty
- Normalized Power® – Effort corrected for intensity fluctuations
- Intensity Factor® – How hard you rode relative to your threshold
- Workload – Total physiological strain based on time and intensity
- TSS® (Training Stress Score) – Industry-standard training load metric
- Variability Index – How steady or erratic your power output was
- Ideal Positions (%) – Time spent holding your target aero posture
- Speed Efficiency – How well your power translated into speed
Why it matters:
This is where Darefore brings everything together — showing how your body, position, and pacing performed as a system. It helps you train more precisely, recover smarter, and ride more efficiently every time.
Performance Over Time
Your ride, second by second.
This interactive chart tracks your key metrics throughout the session:
- Power, Heart Rate, Cadence, Speed, Elevation
- Body Angle and Position Type
Hovering over the chart reveals a live snapshot — showing exact values at each moment, including position type and body angle.

Why it matters:
You’re not just seeing performance — you’re seeing posture in action. Use this to connect changes in effort with shifts in form, fatigue, or terrain.
